Once you have your domain name and your website, you then need surfers to find it. You should of course have your domain name printed on all of your business stationary. There is no better way of getting people to your website.

If people do not know your domain name then they can only find your website by using a search enginge such as Google, AllTheWeb or Yahoo! They could be searching for your company name or they may be searching for a particular product or service. Your website must be created with these types of searches in mind to maximise your chances of appearing near the top of the results in the search engines.

To get your website into the indexes of the search engines, your website has to be submitted to them. Rockmill can do this for you and do so automatically, every month.

Note: it can take up to two months for a website to be indexed by a Search Engine. However, there is no absolute guarantee that a website will be included. Consider paying to have yourself included into a Search Engines index, for example Google's AdWords.
